As beautiful as these lamps are, they're quite sensitive so please do not use other globes or exceed the voltage as you run the risk of blowing the transformer. Please take care when replacing globes. We suggest using a tissue so as not to touch the actual globe. Or opening only the base of the packaging to expose the metal prongs and inserting into the base while still holding the glass component in the packaging.
